RSVP What LA Jews Need: New Data on Finances, Mental Health, and More —and How Jewish Organizations Can Respond
Los Angeles has a strong network of more than 20 Jewish human services agencies—yet new data shows that nearly one-third of Jewish households in LA are struggling financially, and two in three experienced a social service need last year. Stigma and lack of awareness prevent many from seeking help, even when support is available.
Join JFEDLA and TEN for a webinar on February 5th at 2pm highlighting key findings from the Federation’s Social Service Needs Study. We’ll explore what the data reveals about financial insecurity, mental health, and access to care—and what it means for how Jewish organizations design programs, communicate with constituents, and support staff in connecting people to resources.
Designed for all Jewish communal leaders, nonprofits, synagogues, campus organizations, and national groups with a presence in LA, this session will offer concrete insights and practical tools to better serve their constituents and reduce barriers to accessing community.
The Social Service Needs Study was conducted by Burson in partnership with the Glazer Foundation and Jewish Federation Los Angeles.
TEN is a national Jewish poverty and affordability organization led by Rachel Sumekh.
